home of Welsh stand up comedian Psycho Dave

Real Name:

Dave Fellows.

Type of Stand Up Comedy:

Dark - Theatrical - Surreal

Described As:

The Love Child Of Tommy Cooper, Count Arthur Strong, & Jack The Ripper (It Was A Threesome)

For the first couple of years of Dave's solo career, he performed as "Psycho Dave And His Stuffed Mum" - The "Stuffed Mum" being a life size facsimile of his dead mother that accompanied him on stage in a wheelchair. The humor was dark, surreal, and ideal for halloween (Psycho Dave once performed at the Amused Moose's Halloween Event in London) - Plenty of one liners, and fantastic scenarios (always with a strong punchline). But The "Mother" prop became a little too cumbersome to cart around to gigs, so he eventually locked her in the fruit cellar, and carried on alone. 2013 saw the comeback of "Stuffed Mum", When Psycho Dave and His Stuffed Mum headlined at Neath's Infamous "Clown's Pocket Comedy Club" -

Psycho Dave is not your run of the mill stand up comedian, he is quite, quite different: His act is a mixture of Stand up and Theatre - he Prefers to call himself a "Performance Comedian", rather than a "Stand Up".

Not only was he a  performer with Channel 69, he was also the writer of the team's sketches. - Channel 69 Performed Live, and were also featured on the pilot episode of a BBC Wales Television Sunday Afternoon Magazine Show - They also performed live on the Roy Noble Radio Show (BBC Radio Wales). Channel 69's most notorious gig was supporting the Late, Great, Jake Thackery,  at the Officer's Mess RAF ST Athens.
